Ultimate Athlete Concepts meets the needs of pro athlete hopefuls by offering a highly individualized complex training
protocol using the most advanced training methods known. We have secured the help of some of the most erudite scientists in
several fields related to improving athletic performance, thus taking a holistic approach and melding the different
disciplines into one distinct training program.
The training provided for athletes centers around high-level
technique analysis and an individualized complex training
protocol designed to improve athletic attributes specific to the
sport. A wide range of restorative measures are also
employed to enable the athlete to endure this high-stress training.
Yosef Johnson is the founder and head facilitator of Ultimate Athlete Concepts. His work is dedicated to bringing together
the best scientists from a variety of fields and incorporating their knowledge into a comprehensive program.
Every athlete who inquires about training is not necessarily accepted as a client.
The athlete must first be interviewed by Yosef Johnson to discern whether the prospective athlete is serious in his or her
commitment to improving as an athlete.
After this step, the athlete must submit a handwriting sample to Jean Drew, an expert graphologist. From this analysis,
it is determined if the athlete has the right mental make-up to live a committed lifetsyle and the perseverance to pursue a
long-range goal.
After successfully completing this initial process, the athlete is place on a probationary period of ninety days. After
proving themselves during this time, the athletes are then accepted as permanent clients. Once accepted, athletes are
expected to be present at the allotted lesson time unless other arrangements are made. The weekly fee must be paid whether
the athlete is present or not. Training will be ongoing and not hit or miss. If consistency is not maintained, UAC will no
longer work with the athlete.
Before commencing the training process the athlete is video taped performing the various skills involved in their sport.
This tape is bio mechanically analyzed frame-by-frame by Dr. Michael Yessis. Errors in technique will be pointed out and the
appropriate corrections are made. At this point the athlete will be given assignments for improving technique and given a
training protocol that will facilitate improvement in the specific skills that are involved in the athlete's sport.
The athlete will meet once a week with Yosef Johnson for a lesson. Training technique will be taught as a methodical
progression to improve the physiological status and ultimately performance in competition. Long term and short
term goals will be mapped out and specific plans will be made to achieve each goal.
Athletes will maintain a written training and dietary diary and turn it in each week to Yosef Johnson. They will also be
given educational assignments such as book reports and DVD reviews that are pertinent to the field. The intent is
to have each athlete know precisely why they are doing what they are doing and to be conversant in the subject.
